About Lemon Myrtle Green

Lemon Myrtle Green is a green tea blend infused with lemon myrtle, a native Australian plant known for its intense citrusy aroma and flavour.

The tea base is green tea, known for its fresh and slightly vegetal flavour. Green tea leaves are minimally oxidized, preserving their natural colour and taste.

Lemon myrtle (Backhousia citriodora) is an Australian native plant with leaves that have a strong lemon fragrance and flavor. The inclusion of lemon myrtle adds a zesty and citrusy character to the tea, providing a bright and refreshing taste.

The combination of green tea and lemon myrtle creates a harmonious blend. Expect a well-balanced infusion with the natural freshness of green tea complemented by the vibrant and citrusy notes of lemon myrtle. The taste may be both invigorating and soothing.

Lemon Myrtle Green tea has a delightful and aromatic fragrance, predominantly citrusy with a hint of green tea undertones. The aroma can be invigorating and uplifting.

Green tea contains moderate levels of caffeine. While not as high as black tea or coffee, it provides a gentle energy boost.

Lemon Myrtle Green tea can be enjoyed hot or cold. It's versatile and can be sweetened with honey or enjoyed plain, depending on personal preferences. Additionally, it might serve as a refreshing iced tea during warmer weather.

Green tea is known for its antioxidant properties, and lemon myrtle is believed to have antimicrobial and immune-boosting properties. The blend may offer a combination of these potential health benefits.

The inclusion of lemon myrtle in the blend adds an Australian touch to the tea, highlighting the unique flora of the region.
